Spur started with a simple idea: more people in Waimea wanted to make art than there were places to do it. So instead of waiting for the perfect space, we began hosting classes, workshops, and gatherings wherever we could—partnering with local artists and opening up shared spaces across the community. What started small is growing into something bigger, shaped by the people showing up.

Rooted in Waimea and shaped by the people who live in the North Kohala region, Spur brings artists, teachers, and neighbors into shared spaces to learn from one another and make something real.
